Church in the Yard (CitY)

The members of Church of the Holy Trinity consider our location to be a blessing which enables us to reach out to the community.  Being a downtown church offers us tremendous opportunities.  Our primary outreach is to the homeless, needy, and poor members of the community.  We are very close to the Nashville Rescue Mission.  Between the residents that stay there and those that live on the street, we have many opportunities to help those in need.

We are surrounded by people in need.  We are grateful to be available to those that come to the church.  Church in the Yard (CitY) is one way in which we do that.  Every Sunday at 2:00 pm we have a Eucharist that take place in the yard of the church.  Following that service, there is a meal that is given to all that come to the church.  During the meal, there is a team of people that fellowship with the guests fostering relationships.  In addition, people are prayed for and counseled.  Several churches from the surrounding area cook meals on designated Sundays.  It is a wonderful opportunity to reach out to those that suffer in many ways.
