Cards for Restoration

I am always so thankful at this time of the year.  During our Annual Meeting, we talk about all that has taken place in the past year and we look to the future and what we plan for the coming year. In the meeting, I am also reminded of the wonderful members of this parish who do so much throughout the year.  I give thanks for all of them.  I am in awe when I think of their faithfulness to God, to each other, and to this place.

Holy Trinity is a special place as we are surrounded by opportunities to reach out to those in need. Everything from people knocking on the door, after walking many blocks, to ask if I will pray for them, to people coming to Church in the Yard on Sunday afternoon and then enjoying a meal and fellowship following the worship service. Many churches are involved in this outreach and it offers a great opportunity for others to reach out.

All this said, Church of the Holy Trinity is a church that is in desperate need of restoration. The church was built in 1852 and there is a tremendous need for repairs. We will raise the money eventually to complete this work.  One way that you can help is through Cards for Restoration.  We have boxes of icon note cards that can be purchased and all the money from the sale of the cards will go to the restoration efforts.  If you are interested in purchasing Cards for Restoration, they can be purchased in boxes of 10 cards for $20.00.
